Denzel is a creative whose knowledge of current issues related to gender and experience working with youth groups informs his use of technology to create and implement strategic solutions. Passion for communication & community led Denzel to explore a degree in Gender & Women's Studies, with a minor in Sociology, from SUNY Plattsburg. In 2015, Denzel joined the New York City Housing Authority as an analyst and field technician, working to implement new technology and assist in improving overall workflow and productivity. He also worked as an after‐school group leader for young people with the World Play Inc from 2017‐2018, where he tutored and mentored young people ages 4‐11. He lends this experience to the Marcy Houses Memorial Scholarship Fund, leading social media and youth outreach. Denzel has also served as Executive A&R at Toy Records NYC, an upcoming brand. His primary charge was to create innovative promotion & marketing, and in addition, he lends expertise in songwriting & music arrangement, event planning & curating, digital marketing, content creation & graphic design for other artists. He is also a musician and has landed placements on NBA2k24 and Madden 24, while also striking a deal to have his music played in MSG and The Barclays Center. Follow his music @Yesssterday. Denzel is also a podcaster and works camera operations for one of the biggest urban platforms. In 2025 he became a staff member of Benjamin Banneker High School and joined its Obama‐created My Brothers Keeper (MBK) mentorship program.
