GENEVIEVE JOHNSON
Born in 1954, Genevieve Johnson spent her early childhood as a Marcy Houses resident. Today, Genevieve has a son and is a grandmother of three. Throughout the course of her career, Genevieve has worked with corporate attorneys as a legal secretary and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the City College of New York in Media Communications Technologies/Media Arts, as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from the City University Graduate Center. Genevieve is currently a participant in the PowerUp Business Competition sponsored by Brooklyn Public Library’s Business Center with support from leading entities such as Dime Community Bank and other banking and research entities, women.nyc and private individuals. Genevieve plans to become a small business owner as an artisan in the retail sector, creating quilt works and women’s apparel.
